6.2 Legendary Pets, Part 2

As we started this series last week, I figured I would make it as easy as I could for you to get through the terrors in Taanan Jungle. So, this week, we will continue the series with the other half of the pets. Well, kind of half. Last 8.

As mentioned last week, it's important to know that you don't only have to beat the pets, but you have to survive the Fel Corruption as well, so these strategies are put together with that concept in mind. Also, as mentioned last week, you also want to make sure that you remember that these guys have backline pets as well, so you have to get through the legendary and their posse.

Dreadwalker - Oh, the Zandalari Anklerender strikes again. This bad boy with his Hunting Party, Primal Cry, and Black Claw makes it easy to rip through some of these in no time. For this fight, I paired him with my Anubisath Idol (Crush, Sandstorm, Deflect) and my buddy Chrominius (Bite, Howl, Surge) to bring on the pain.

Whatchu lookin' at?
Felfly - Since he's a flying type, he's pretty easy to wipe out with the Nexus Whelpling (Arcane Storm + Mana Surge combo) and the Emerald Proto-Whelp for backup (Breath, Ancient Blessing, Proto-Strike). Get a pet to round out the backline and you'll be ready to go.

Felsworn Sentry - This guy is best beaten by the Zandalari Anklerender (Hunting Party, Primal Cry, and Black Claw), a rabbit of any type (just needs stampede) and a third creature to deal with the back line (Chrominius works well, as usual).

Mirecroak - Since he's one of the few water ones in here, you need some flying types to take him down. The best team I found was the Crow (Peck, Squawk, and Murder), the Death Adder Hatchling (Vicious Fang, Puncture Wound, and Blinding Poison), and Anubisath Idol (Crush, Sandstorm, Deflect). Bring out the Crow, do Squawk, Peck, then Murder, then Peck till he dies. Bring out the Adder, do Blinding Poison, Puncture Wound, and Vicious Fang until he dies. The, if you need to, do Sandstorm and Crush until the other pets go down.
Ribbit, ribbit...

Netherfist - Netherfist can be a bit of a pain, you've been warned. The first setup that I have for Dreadwalker works quite well for him, or, if you want something different, try something else out. The Pandaren Water Spirit (Water Jet, Whirlpool, Geyser), any fox (Dazzling Dance and Howl), and then a third pet to deal with everyone else. It's a mini howl bomb, essentially, and a lot easier to go through with.

Skrillix - Am I the only one that cracked up at this guy's name? Anyone? Anyway, the best way to deal with Skrillex is to get a team with the Unborn Valk or the Creepy Crate (You really just need it to have Curse of Doom), and a pair of snails (Absorb, Acidic Goo, Slime). It takes awhile, and you're really whittling away at his health, but it works.

Tainted Maulclaw - This little ass made me frustrated. Like, yelling at my computer frustrated. There is SO MUCH RNG. Anyway, the way that I did it was with the Pandaren Water Spirit (Water Jet, Whirlpool, Geyser); Chrominius (Arcane Explosion, Howl, Surge of Power); Emerald Proto-Whelp (Emerald Bite, Emerald Presence, Emerald Dream). Start with Geyser, then Whirlpool. Switch to Chrominius, then do Howl, then Surge of Power. Arcane Explosion until Chrominius goes down. Then, when you bring out the Emerald Proto-Whelp, do Emerald Presence, Emerald Dream, then Emerald Bite until the backline pets go down. You know I love you when I try TEN different teams in order to get this jerk done. But, he was my last one, and now I have my achievement.

Vile Blood of Draenor - This guy was a bit of a jerk, but I found that the best way to deal with him is the Emerald Proto Whelp (Breath, Ancient Blessing, Proto-Strike) and just knock the daylights out of him. As usual, I used Chrominius and the Anubisath Idol to finish the whole thing off.

So, there you have it! The legendary pets that you have to beat through Tanaan in 6.2. Did you have different methods of beating them, and did you enjoy trying to take them on? Let me know in the comments!

Also, if you want to check out my Twitter, go ahead over there, I'm always posting random screenshots and news and such. Can't wait to see you there!

Well Met!
